Born in Grenada in 1974, Tara LoFaro moved to Miami in 1991. She majored in photography and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Florida International University in 1998. Her fine art work has been featured in several group shows at museums, galleries and cultural centers throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Tara LoFaro started as a fine art portraitist. She then became staff photographer at local photo studios where her specialties became portrait and publicity, social (weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs) and corporate event photography.

Karel Grimberg was born in Santiago, Chile in 1976 and moved to Miami in 1992. He majored in Computer Science at Florida International University receiving his degree in 2000. Karel Grimberg has had a long love affair with photography, which flourished into his current profession; with his specialties being fashion, boudoir and commercial photography.

This wife and husband team is striving to meet the needs of their clients and take their business beyond clients' expectations. Tara and Karel both possess extremely down to earth personalities. They create a comfortable working environment for all of their subjects and this is evident in their enthusiasm for the job, and friendly, mild-mannered charisma. They have an incredible work ethic and will not rest until the job is completed to their utmost satisfaction.

"Memories may tend to fade but in photographs they remain alive. We are charged with the documentation and preservation of those memories and that means everything to us. Photography is a permanent recording of history and it is our honor to document these special moments, whether it's through the eyes of a baby on their first birthday or a couple sharing their first kiss as husband and wife."
